Everyone has heard about the rain forests of the Amazon and the famous breaches of Brazil. The nightlife and excitement of exotic Brazilian cities like Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro are legendary, and make Brazil holidays one of the hottest vacation destinations.
The thing about Brazil is it doesn’t matter what time of year you visit, since the weather there is always sunny and fine. The gorgeous beaches along the 2,800-kilometer coast are always shimmering and vivid, with incredible turquoise coloured seas and white or golden sands. There is so much to explore that it staggers the imagination. It is entirely possible to discover a pristine and isolated gem of a beach that hasn’t yet been overrun by other travelers.
But besides the famous beaches of Brazil, there are any numbers of lesser-known travel destinations in this immense and diverse country. The city of Salvador, capital of the Brazilian state of Bahai, is a picturesque post card attraction of cobbled streets, old world colonial charm, flower-festooned cloisters and ornate churches. Stroll down streets of vibrantly coloured houses and shops filled with folk art and handicrafts, musical instruments and sculptures, and any number of deals on clothing and fashion accessories.
Another lesser-known attraction in Brazil is Iguassu Falls, considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of South America. This mesmerizing natural wonder consists of over 275 waterfalls and cascades stretching for over two miles along the Argentine-Brazil border. The falls are a truly awe-inspiring and hypnotic sight that should not be passed up during a vacation to Brazil.
